Kohana Shinonome lives a nice and easy living all on her own, but sometimes she wonders if she should adopt a stray cat. After a hectic Friday shift, she looks forward to a quiet night with her convenience store dinner and her warm kotatsu - only for her to see a beautiful, unconscious, obviously hurt young woman in the bushes near her apartment.
