As an assistant to ministerial candidate Lee Myeongseon, Joo Incheol thought he had his whole future planned out. However, when internal politics in the campaign threaten to push him down the pecking order, he finds himself saddled with a seemingly impossible mission to salvage his career: resolve a contentious redevelopment conflict in Songmun City’s Jungang district, by any means necessary. Complicating things further, his only hope lies with Ahn Pyeonghwa, owner of the run-down gym at the heart of the dispute, who also just so happens to be Incheol’s next door neighbor. However, it seems that Pyeonghwa is willing to help, provided Incheol fulfills one peculiar request: “Please hit me.”
