Keiichi Hoshimi is a hopeless romantic office worker. He's a huge fan of the popular romance comic, Black Horse Prince, and looks up to the main character, Prince Ricard.
Crushed by a recent breakup, he makes an account on a dating app where he meets Hime, a fellow Black Horse Prince fan. Convinced that destiny brought them together, he arranges a meeting in person the very next day. But, the one who shows up at their meeting spot is a handsome black-haired man, Izumi Himesaki... and he just happens to be the author of Black Horse Prince himself!
Keiichi never was lucky in love, so it begs the question: is their encounter coincidence or is it actually destiny!? What does fate have in store for them...!!?
