Lonely and delinquent high school student Kurumata Rango is drawn to a single invitation and plunged into "Wonderland." A kingdom of twilight ruled by a dark and white queen, it's a bloody ball about to take place, a game in which only one survivor will be left standing. A man calling himself a Hatter appears before the bewildered Rango and tells him: Scattered throughout Wonderland are cards that bestow miraculous abilities upon their owners.
