Han Woojin, a laboratory-bound researcher obsessed with science,
becomes so deeply immersed in his experiments that he reaches a state of arousal—sometimes even climaxing—purely from excitement.

His colleagues have gone so far as to nickname him “Mad Woojin” whenever he gets like that.

One day, Woojin hears a rumor about Deokmu Mountain, a place said to be home to a goblin who grants gold.

Though he doesn’t believe in such supernatural nonsense, curiosity gets the better of him, and he decides to investigate.

There, he encounters Baekbaek, a goblin said to be a god of wealth.

Determined to scientifically prove the existence of such a being,
