I love romance, so I just live to read shoujo/josei mangas... and some BLs too ૮꒰⸝⸝> ̫ <⸝⸝꒱ა
If you're interested in some novels, here a few titles that I read (you can find the manhwas here in bato)
Roxana (100/10 Transmigration /MAJOR SPOILER:Regression I beg you to read this novel even if transmigration isn't your genre. Trust me. I couldn’t put this one before HTMHO, but it will definitely be right next to it.
It took me such a long time to read this… I kept pushing it down my list for whatever reason, and I regretted it so much. I can’t express how much of a masterpiece this novel is...
Blood, murder, manipulation, butterflies, and a drop-dead gorgeous FL, all wrapped in a beautifully mature tone.
Roxana is a cunning, sly fox. The ML is determined and loyal, and the side characters? They're so well-written that will put you on a tightrope between hate and love (some just hate), and sometimes even pity. But one thing is guaranteed: you'll leave this story worshipping Roxana the ABSOLUTE queen.
The plot is chef’s kiss, with every knot presented to you being untied in due time. Each side story is perfect (even the amnesia arc which I thought it was unnecessary at first I ended up loving it) Everything adds something. By the end, you won’t have a single unanswered question. The manhwa is gorgeous too (even though it went on indefinite hiatus). The art is stunning.
How to win my husband over (1000/10 Transmigration. My ultimate favourite, highly recommended, it also has a manhwa (the art is gorgeous) but etheir way, read the novel pls, is too good) Warning: the novel touch a few sensitive subjects like: eat disorder, physical violence, suicide, among others.
This BL novel is ruined now (8/10 Also a Transmigration, I really recommend it if you want to have a nice and funny read. The story is nice but at the middle I felt a little confused. It was as if they just mix a lot of different thing without explain anything, dragging it too long, but at the end it was as if they finally make a point. Either way I really love the protagonists. PLS HURRY UP AND MAKE IT A MANHWA 🙏🏻)
Karina last day (10/10 A really sad story (a total tragedy, don't hope for a happy ending) you won't stop crying, but is absolutely beautiful. A normal girl who just want a peaceful place to rest far from her family until her day comes. Loooove the side stories (Thanks a lot to Guess_Again for the recommendation) I know it has a manhwa, but for me It wasn't worth it)
Becoming the dark hero's daughter (9/10 another Transmigration. Is a really good story, with a dilf and a super hot overprotective brother, it's like a Sherlock Holmes story with mysteries and homicides. A full love story. It has a manhwa that recently start the second season, pretty good)
The strongest characters in the world are obsessed with me (8/10 Transmigration. Full of pretty boys, endearing story and lovable FL. It's not that story with deep meaning or strong development but is a good read if you're boring. It has a manhwa, but I didn't check it, sorry)
I won't go back to my family (8/10 just a normal story. I really love the FL, these is one of the few girls you're going to see stand up and take actually action for being mistreated and held her head up. I love her so much, because her conviction never waved. It also has a manhwa, but the art it wasn't my liking)
Why are you sorry, darling? (8/10 It's another Transmigration, a pretty smart FL, ready to make plots and tricks and make a castrated pay 😏(They give it a manhwa recently)
Revolutionary Princess Eve (9/10 Currently reading. Regression. Another FL whose take conviction and stand up to make up her goal, making a whole new rute. Love the story so far and had some really nice, spicy scenes 💕 It has a manhwa but didn't check it either)
Vivian's Circumstances (6/10 it's a R19 novel, I wanted just to give it a try. It's turn out it's not my thing. Either way, the novel is not that bad, but it had so many bed scenes that I missed the plot) It doesn't have a manhwa obviously)
Lucia (9/10 Regression. I started reading it because I couldn't wait for the manhwa to finish. It’s a really good read.
A story full of love and slow development. There's no useless drama, just one misunderstanding going on.
The novel has smut, so if you're not okay with that, just skip those parts. I loved all the side stories too. And obviously, the manhwa is totally recommended as well.)
A World without you (7/10 Regression.
I started reading it because I felt it would be a story more like The Dark Hero Daughter with more of a family approach than a romance focus.
The novel portrays a PTSD character really well, you can understand why she’s so afraid, unsure, and distrustful. The story is pretty good overall, and I liked it a lot while it focused on the main problem, but I didn’t like how much they forced the ML. I feel like they could’ve tried another approach or even another person, but 🤷🏻♀️ whatever.
The manhwa is good. It's not stunning art, but it has appeal and I like it. It's still ongoing, and I check it from time to time)
Into the light once again (6/10 Reincarnation. Okay.. what to say? Is not like the story was bad, it had a nice narrative and the characters are alright BUT they sold me a revenge story, they said to me that this girl that dies unfairly wants to make her family paid. And they give me a lot of things but that. They even take yeaaaarrss until the topic is resurge. It felt almost like if the issue doesn't arise due to force majeure they will totally demise it, so.. idk, all resolved rather plain it, and even if it has a nice resolute and a happy ending, all the reading felt mostly empty for me. I know it has a manhwa but for the comments I read they change a lot of thing in the story turning a lot of thing differently, so I probably going to give it a chance in the future maybe there I can be satisfied)
The cruelty of Salvation (10/10 Pfp. A normal story, without Regression or Transmigration involved. I was searching for something like this for a long time. A slow burn bittersweet novel. This is the story of two persons whose looking for freedom, love and comfort. She's smart and pretty but live in an unfair world where a woman can't stand up for herself. He's a prince, tired of the aristocracy, living in the shadow of his brother just for be born second. Like anyone born in a sheltered palace, full of abundance, he is fast to judge. She, like any other commoner, think he has the easy life. They desire the life of the other, their comfort, but they're both in living hell.
This is a back-to-back story. Not hers, neither his. You're always seeing her struggles, while knowing his thoughts and you watch his living without missing her thinking. That is one of the things I like the most of the story. You're always knowing both parts.
I appreciate each one of the details that's described. All of her hairbands, his daily silky gloves, the clothes both use, they hairstyles, and how easy is for him to go from a disheveled appearance to fasten the buttons of his shirt and end up on a flawless one. If one day they give it a manhwa I hope they could picture all this too. This was, for me, my: I came looking for copper and found gold kind of story. Reaching the end I cried like it was not tomorrow, and I would love it if they had added a few side stories or special episodes but it's what it is)
