I read just about everything. The only times I start to feel icky when reading are when there's an obvious/hidden problematic fetish at hand. Whether it's making your characters childlike in order to sexualize them, or giving a character an oddly sexual sister/brother complex and not diving into the implications, or putting some sort of assault in there and then brushing it off. (You can cover these topics, but you have to do it right. Otherwise it's just fetish content.)
I try to be as positive as possible as, just because a story wasn't my thing, doesn't mean it's bad. There's plenty of stories that I've read that have 80+ chapters that I never really liked but I won't give them a 0⭐️ just because of that.
