High school girl, manga is my secret hobby.. my dad won’t buy me manga, talking about how it’s unrefined. He locked up all my money in an account, so I can’t buy any on my own. We have 2000 books, no manga or manhwa. I have been forced to read classical literature since I was 11. At one point I read so much Charlotte Brontë that I started using dead words. Literature has built up my academics, but manga has become the foundations for my soul.
